This
year’s Fall Product Sale theme Go Green…..Observe and Conserve focuses on
helping girls conserve the environment. It allows and teaches girls to take
the lead in conservation and helps develop them to be a leader in their
community, school and at home. Recycling can be fun and what a better way
for girls to learn the benefits of recycling and helping the environment
then through the Fall Product Sale! |

Proceeds from the Fall Product Sale benefit Girl Scouts by providing troops
with “start-up” money. Troops will make 15% of the gross sales. This
year we will have 12 nut/candy items to sell for $5 – troops will make
.75 cents from each item sold on these products AND 15% on the
selling price of any magazine subscription! The sale also provides troops
with extra money for program activities, special trips or events and
pursuing troop goals and interests. Last year, troops earned more than
$94,000 by participating in the Fall Product Sale. The Council’s share
of the sale income allowed for expansion and improvements to the four camp
properties along with technology upgrades at the Girl Scout offices. |
